Le Peep

Le Peep, for some reason, was a place I went to over and over and over again while I was at grad school at Northwestern. This place is pretty meh, and is waaaaay overpriced for what you get.

When you walk in (at peak times for breakfast or brunch), the waiting area is usually way overcrowded. Fortunately, there are a lot of tables, so usually the wait isn't too bad. The service is ok, not great but not bad.

One of my favorite foods in the world is french toast, and only seldom do I actually get french toast that is all the way cooked through. Oh yes....their french toast is actually gooey. EW! The pancakes are ok (banana walnut being the best), but for what you pay, I'd say skip Le Peep and go somewhere else.
